Back from the (almost) dead

Dear Friends

Thank you to all those who wished me a speedy recovery from my recent mysterious illness. We made light of it here, but to be truthful it was pretty serious and put me out of action for over a month. I’m determined to make up for lost time and am already planning two new album projects for release early in the New Year.

It was an exotic bug with a long unpronounceable name and I was subjected to all sorts of experiments with mind altering substances before they finally allowed me out, so let’s just hope it doesn’t end like ‘Cocoon’ with me mutating into a human cactus.

The reissue of ‘Masque’ will be released in October. I think you will find it a big improvement over the original release, but as with the other reissues I didn’t remix it, just added subtle and significant improvements (backing vocals, additional instruments etc)

Talking of ‘Cocoon’, I have been promised that the reissue of ‘Masque’ will be released in October after months of frustrating delay and that the PRAS will have a limited number of copies for those who wish to replace their original CD. I think you will find it a big improvement over the original release, but as with the other reissues I didn’t remix it, just added subtle and significant improvements (backing vocals, additional instruments etc)

Finally may I recommend anyone interested in the occult, (specifically H.P.Lovecraft, Dennis Wheatley, Crowley, The Church of Satan, the alleged connection between rock music and Satanism, Comic Book artist Alan Moore and the part the Church played in the creation of the devil etc) to check out ‘The Dark History of the Occult’ published this month. The UK paperback edition unfortunately has a rather unimpressive cover but the US hardback edition looks the business and should be available from Amazon UK.

And do keep an eye on this and the related sites as we will be posting exclusive content in the coming weeks.

Keep your spirits up – but don’t talk to any you don’t know personally
